If you are having trouble setting up your email, you can mail us on our support email, and one of our support specialists will gladly help you through it. If possible, you can install Teamviewer before you contact us, and we can log in remotely. This speeds up the process immensely!
People are telling me my mail is going to their junk folder?
If your mail is being incorrectly flagged as spam by your recipient’s ISP or Outlook please consider the following options:
- Ask your email recipients to whitelist your email address in Outlook using the Outlook junk mail preferences.
- Ask your email recipients to whitelist your email address using their ISP’s control panel (if this functionality exists for them to do so).
- Craft your emails to be less spam like:
- Don’t shout using ALL CAPS, especially in subject lines.
- Don’t only send images in email without any text whatsoever.
- Don’t send executable attachments in your emails.
- Don’t use offensive language or words in your emails.
If you are still having problems sending email to certain recipients please open a support request and one of our engineers will look into the issue for you.

I would like to resell your products and provide my customers with a packaged service. What options are available to me?
We wanted to provide our resellers with the tools necessary in order to manage several dozen of their own customers, which is why we designed Dcentral, our customer self-service control panel, with all the options necessary in order to do so. Resellers can use Dcentral to:

Can I trial a Microsoft 365 license?
Unfortunately you cannot trial a 365 license as Microsoft requires us as resellers to pay for licenses used up-front. As such our licensing with our clients is on a month to month, up-front basis. You can cancel your license at any time in order to not incur the charge for the following month.
Should you wish to trial an Exchange mailbox you we recommend selecting and Exchange Online 1 license as this is the most cost effective offer available allow for full Exchange functionality and a 50GB mailbox.
People are telling me they are not receiving my emails?
We deal with queries such as missing emails on a case-by-case basis. Please open a new support request with one of our team and provide as much pertinent information as possible. If you received a bounce message please include that with the support request. Otherwise we will need the sending email address, the recipient’s email address as well as the date and time that the mail was sent in order to trace what happened to the mail.
If you are a 365 / Exchange Online user, you can login to the Exchange Online Admin interface and perform a search and discovery of the missing message yourself.
Dcentral, our self-serivce control panel, will in future also provide functionality to trace email delivery.
Why do I need a web hosting subscription for email?
A long time ago, email and websites were thought of as being virtually the same thing. A domain tied everything together and that was that. Things are different today, however most web hosting companies still offer web hosting packages with email included. In order for our customers to be able to compare apples with apples, we include commodity POP mailboxes with our website hosting. Bundling the two saves money, completes the product, centralizes your billing and support and allows us to be competitive.
We do however plan to offer POP mailboxes with no hosting plan sometime in the near future.
Does Databias provide a Cpanel interface?
No. Databias does not use Cpanel. We provide vanilla hosting with the most secure, optimized and efficient software possible, which means no Cpanel.
